In this blog post, I’ll guide you through creating your own DIY party poppers using toilet paper rolls, and I’ll even provide printable covers designed exclusively for the occasion. Let’s dive in and get ready to make your Independence Day celebration pop!

Now let’s get started on making some Party Poppers
Materials you will need:
- Toilet paper rolls (empty and clean)
- Colored or patterned tissue paper
- Scissors
- Tape
- Glue or double sticky tape
- Confetti or small treats (optional)
- Balloons (this will be at the bottom of the roll, what you will pull to make all the confetti come out)
- Printer (for the printable covers)
- Printable Covers (Click Picture of Party popper covers to download)
Step 1: Prepare the Party Poppers Start by collecting empty and clean toilet paper rolls. These will serve as the base for your DIY party poppers.
Step 2: Cut squares of colored or patterned tissue paper, ensuring they are large enough to cover one end of the toilet paper roll. Secure the tissue paper to the end of the roll with tape or glue, creating a colorful cap. Put your confetti in before adding the balloon.
Step 3: Cut the top part of your balloon leaving have the balloon with the end and stretch it over the other end of the roll, add a couple pieces of tape to secure the balloon. Tie a knot on the end of the balloon
Step 4: Print the printable covers and glue or tape to the roll. That’s it you’re done. I like to write the word Pop! on the tissue paper so the kids know to poke a hole in it to let all the confetti out when you pull the end of the balloon Video below on a step by step how to make your party popper.
