So when I’m looking for a recipe I really just want to get to the recipe and not read this whole long backstory as to why this recipe came into play.  With that being said here is a super short backstory why I decided to make these.    I mentioned it to my kiddos that I was making some and they got so excited how could I not actually make them, plus they are super easy, quick to make and St. Patrick’s day is right around the corner.

Side note: I used a mix of rice krispie and Lucky charm cereal because I personally like the taste of the rice krispie more then full on Lucky Charm

  • 1 1/2 bags of Mini Marshmallows
  • 4 TBS butter ( half a stick of butter) a little extra to grease your pan
  • 3 cups of Rice Krispies cereal
  • 3 cups of Lucky Charm cereal

  1. Melt butter over medium low heat in a large sauce pan or you can also microwave it at 30 second intervals until fully melted mixing in between in a large microwave safe bowl
  2. Slowly add marshmallows into bowl or sauce pan of melted butter and mix until melted, if using microwave you may have to put back in for 10 to 30 more seconds until all marshmallows are melted
  3. Once marshmallows are melted slowly add the cereal, I added one cup at a time and mixed in between until fully mixed.
  4. Put mixture into your greased pan a 9×13 pan is recommended
  5. Wet hands and press mixture down to spread, cover and put in fridge for 1 hour
  6. Cut into shape of choice and ENJOY!
